Getting Started

This section walks you from a clean install of Cartsaver all the way to a verified test order in your Shopify admin. The path is linear and designed to be completed by a store owner — no developer needed, no theme code edits.

What is Cartsaver

Cartsaver confirms every COD order with the customer over WhatsApp or SMS before a courier is dispatched. A quick yes turns a hesitant cart into a paid delivery; a polite no catches the bots and ghost addresses before they cost you shipping. More confirmed orders mean more revenue actually landing in your books.

What you’ll accomplish

  • Install the app from the Shopify App Store.
  • Pick a default verification channel: WhatsApp or SMS.
  • Enable WhatsApp Order Confirmation on your thank-you page.
  • Place a test order and confirm the message arrives.

Follow these steps top to bottom:

  1. Install the app
  2. Choose a verification channel
  3. Enable order verification
  4. Place a test order

When you’re done, you’ll see at least one order marked Verified in your Cartsaver dashboard and you’ll be ready to move on to Configuration for fine-tuning.
